The Judge James V. Riddel Boys Ranch provides 24-hour residential care and individualized programming for male juvenile offenders, ages 15 to 19, who have been placed in State custody by the court. Care and programming includes opportunities for each student to develop educational, occupational, recreational and daily living skills in a supervised, structured environment where he can feel secure in forming trusting relationships with trained staff members who can help him learn skills for positive growth and change. Achievement Highlights
The education program at JRBR gives boys the opportunity to earn credits towards graduation in math, language arts, social studies and science. There is also a GED preparation program available. Top

Programs
The program at JRBR provides individualized programming designed for youths to develop self-control and positive behavior through the development of positive social skills. The program emphasizes the importance of positive relationships in adapting to the community environment. The family plays a vitally important and significant part in many of the steps a student must complete to become successful and return to the community. Top
