Think College -- Military
One of the most important benefits you gain from the military is receiving money to further your education or pay off an existing student loan. Funds for a college education can be used before entering the service, while in the service, or after discharge. More than $1 billion a year is given to qualified students, either as payment for training or as an award for service. If either one or both of your parents have served in the military, you may also be eligible for financial aid.
