Kansas Board of Regents
The Vocational Education Scholarship is available to eligible students enrolled in approved vocational programs at community or technical colleges and some two-year programs at four-year institutions. Applicants must take the vocational exam which is offered at various sites throughout the state on the first Saturday in November and March. See your high school or college financial aid advisor for applications or contact the Board of Regents. There are approximately 250 scholarships of $500.00 each awarded to the applicants with the highest scores. Approximately 1 in 2 applicants is funded. Kansas Non-Traditional Occupations
Formerly referred to as the Breaking Traditions Scholarship, the Kansas NTO Scholarship is a statewide competition to recognize outstanding male and female students who are enrolled in a career and technical program, which leads to high-wage, high-skill gender non-traditional occupational employment. Two State winners (one high school senior, one community or technical college student) will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Butler Community College
Must complete a minimum of 12 credits hours each semester with at least six credit hours in a vocational technical area and must maintain a 2.0 GPA or better. Part-time students can qualify for half the award amount if they complete a minimum of six credit hours per semester with at least three credit hours in a vocational technical area. You must be enrolled in your program and have this application submitted by May 20th for the fall semester to receive a scholarship. BCC Application for Vocational Scholarship

Wichita Manufacturer's Association (WMA)
