DECA offers its student members a wide range of services and activities organized around the areas of conferences, publications, competitive events, leadership and classroom and chapter resources.
Four specific programs are used in student development and achievement -- Leadership Development, Community Service, Skill Assessment and Academic Skill Development. Programs are based on nationally recognized standards.
The Kansas chapter of DECA sponsors a Fall Chapter Development Conference, participation in the Central Region Leadership Conference, the State Career Development Conference with its election of state officers, attendance at the National Career Development Conference and the Summer State Officer Leadership Training.
