Robinson Middle School

Pre-IB at Robinson Middle School is a rigorous academic program of study for middle level students who are intrinsically motivated and prefer a more demanding curriculum including foreign language, in-depth research, advanced math, science, social studies and literature. Students need to apply directly through Robinson and will be required to take a math and writing assessment before they will be considered for acceptance.

The middle school Leadership Development Program is designed to increase academic success and leadership/teamwork abilities of students. This program also offers extracurricular activities including color guard, drill team, Leadership Academic Tournament, leadership camp, flag detail, parades, and school and community service. Leadership Development is offered at the following middle schools: Brooks, Curtis, Hadley, Hamilton, Jardine, Mead, Pleasant Valley, Robinson, Truesdell, Wells and Wilbur.

INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE DIPLOMA PROGRAM - (IB)

East High School

The IB Diploma Program at East High School is designed to prepare students for success in the best universities in the world. It is a rigorous college-preparatory program for academically talented and committed high school students. Students must apply through East High School and have their transcript sent to the IB Diploma Program office. Students must submit three recommendations, take a writing test and critical thinking appraisal and attend a personal conference with parents and IB staff.
JUNIOR ROTC PROGRAM

The JROTC program is a comprehensive, elective high school course that focuses on a broad spectrum of subjects such as American History, U.S. Constitution, technology awareness, government and current events. The following high schools offer the JROTC program: East, Heights, North, Northeast, Northwest, South, Southeast and West.
