Business Partners help
support AVID
The AVID program could not be successful without the support of its business partners in Wichita. With community partnerships, it is a win-win opportunity in that our students benefit from the resources and mentoring and local businesses are exposed to the future workforce.
At the September 14, 2009 Board of Education meeting, five local companies were recognized for their continued support of AVID.
Cargill Cares – $250,000 over 5 years The Cargill Cares program continues to support the North High AVID program, providing 5 years of financial support totaling $250,000.
