Frequently Asked Questions
- Q - What is the distance for eligibility to receive bus transportation?
- A - The distance to receive bus transportation is 2.50 miles. This distance is set by the state.
- Q - The bus goes right by my house. Can I have the bus pick up my student at my drive?
- A - Direction of travel does not justify a front door pick up. Providing front door pick-ups add additional time to bus routes. Unauthorized front door pick-ups cause delays and is not cost effective.

- A - Transportation is not provided for special transfer students.
- Q - If I have a question about my students transportation pick up or drop off time, who should I contact?
- A - You should always contact your school for information regarding your student's pick and drop off time.
- Q - Will my student be picked up and dropped off the same time everyday?
- A - Not necessarily. Because routes change daily, your student's pick up and drop off time could change.
- Q - If my student's bus route has been changed, who will notify me of the change?
- A - The notification of change in your student's route will come from the school.
