Substitute Paraeducator
Requirements to become a substitute paraeducator:
-Fill out a Substitute Application. (For position preference check: Sub Para.) To fill out an application click on employment at the top of this page. You can start an application for employment from that page.
-All applicants must pass a physical assessment test. The sub office will set this appointment time up if you are selected for a position.
-Once you have been selected for employment you must attend the following meetings:
- Human Resources processing - You will need to bring a completed health form which consists of a TB test and a light physical. It is the prospective employee's responsibility to pay for this test.
- Substitute para inservice/training. (There may be a waiting period for this meeting.)
