This course will allow students to demonstrate safe and correct operation of various technological devices. Students will demonstrate an awareness of technological careers, technology’s impact on society, and practical applications of technology (ie. Manufacturing, construction, transportation and communications). Students will demonstrate ability in working alone and with others. Students will demonstrate ability in utilizing the module system.
Graphic and Presentation Technologies
Students will participate in activities, such as creating and editing graphics, adding graphics into multimedia presentations, using the internet and other sources to gather information, and representing that information visually, in writing and verbally.
Robotics and Communication Technologies
Students will participate in an introduction and study of handheld technologies, robotic design, CAD, programming, digital photography, video technologies, print and multimedia.
Student Technology Leadership
Students will collaborate with classroom teachers to create products such as animations, digital video, and web pages to be used in classroom instruction. Student technology leaders also assist with hardware and software support throughout the building. Students must have instructor approval to enroll in this course.
