These mega-lists are an excellent place to search. Since they connect to many additional sites, you get a good return on your investment of net surfing time.

Grant Opportunities - Chicago Public Schools A very nice site for searching for grant opportunities by Grant Name, Grant Type, Grant Category, Alphabetically or you can view All Available Grants. Grants Administration - Broward Co. FL This is an excellent but difficult site to categorize as it includes a list of current grant opportunities, but it includes many other valuable resources as well. Be sure and check it out. http://www.broward.k12.fl.us/grants/

Foundations
The Foundation Center Using Foundation Finder (use More search options), you can find the names, snail & e-mail addresses, phone numbers and URLs of foundations in Kansas or any other state. While foundations typically fund in the state where they're located, some fund nationally or in multiple states. http://fdncenter.org

Government Resources
Grants.Gov Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically find and apply for more than $400 billion in Federal grants. Grants.gov is THE single access point for over 1,000 grant programs offered by all Federal grant making agencies. In the majority of instances, federal grants are awarded for districtwide, multi-schoolwide or schoolwide projects and are not potential sources of funds for an individual teacher project or project involving only a small number of teachers. http://www.grants.gov/
