July 2007

ü     Assessed valuation, taxes in process, and delinquency percentages are received from the county on July 1.

August 2007

ü      Legal public hearing and budget adoption on the 2007-08 budget as required by Kansas Statute. - August 13, 2007 (North High 7 PM)

ü      Budget filed with the county and state as required by Kansas statute by August 27.

September 2007

ü      Enrollment of September 20 is used to determine 07-08 state funding.

December 2007

ü      State enrollment audit is completed to determine state funding for 07-08.

June 2008

ü     State determines Special Education aid and budget budget is republished if necessary.
