Budget Mission Statement

Prepare the annual budget document for consideration by the Wichita Board of Education that reflects the mission of the Wichita Public Schools.

Assist business office staff and administrative heads in executing the Board approved budget and in maximizing their use of resources to meet Wichita Public School objectives.

Assist executive district staff and other district offices in ensuring that the district maintains a sound financial status.

Implement and maintain the district's annual budget and handle budget adjustments throughout the year.

Present budget data in a transparent format that is widely accessible to the district and its community.
