Make a Difference Day was celebrated on October 25th at Horace Mann Dual Language Magnet. The event was open to elementary and middle school students with and without disabilities. Activities included: music, drama, art and large motor activities. Over 140 students participated and 53 volunteers assisted with the celebration. A special thank you to Accessible Arts Inc., and all the wonderful sponsors who supported the event.

Members participated in a week long Celebration for Martin Luther King. On January the 19th the members conducted a walkablility study that focused on "Safe Route for Kids." Members also cleaned up the area as they surveyed the schools. Members also assisted the Wichita State University Office of Multicutural Affairs with Martin Luther King week. Members had the opportunity to hear guest speakers. They also provided candles for the Unity Walk that was held on campus.
