New Construction!
Two new schools are currently under construction in the Wichita Public Schools. Gordon Parks Academy and the new Earhart Environmental Magnet are scheduled to open in the fall of 2008. The Wichita Public Schools celebrated the start of construction of Gordon Parks Academy, its new kindergarten – eighth-grade school in northeast Wichita with a groundbreaking ceremony on April 16. To read more about the groundbreaking, click here.
