BOE reviews the proposed 2009-10 budget

“This is a difficult budget and we’re going through difficult times,” said Superintendent John Allison. “I think the Board is making the best decisions possible considering the financial circumstances the state is in right now.”

The BOE will meet again on July 27 to adopt a resolution to publish the proposed budget, which sets the amount for the 2009-10 budget. The BOE will adopt the budget in August. The public is welcome to address the BOE about the budget and can sign up to speak at their meetings by contacting the Clerk of the Board, 973-4553.
