BOE approves contract agreements with employee groups
The Board of Education approved the employee agreements between the different employee groups for 2007-2008 during its August 13 meeting. The contracts are with the United Teachers of Wichita, Service Employees International Union, Wichita Association of Technical/Supervisory Personnel, Security Group and Confidential Group.

The agreements with all employee groups include a 4-percent pay increase and the Board of Education will pay $552 a month per employee for health insurance, with the option of paying an additional $165 dollars a month for the premium health insurance package.
