In this edition of School News: Pleasant Valley Middle School gets their principal back from Kuwait, Adams Elementary receives the Red Carpet Award, Colvin Elementary teacher receives the Excellence in Public Service Award, Earhart Environmental Magnet holds a dedication ceremony for their school, Gordon Parks Academy receives a statue from David and Toni Parks, Lincoln Elementary has a Fiesta, and Isely Traditional Magnet learns about the community. We see how students at Hadley Middle School are using technology and a teddy bear to communicate with students in Italy. We also learn about conditional formatting in Excel 2007, see the screen capture tool in Smart Notebook 10.0, and visit wordle.net to create “word clouds.”
