We see how students at Hadley Middle School are using technology and a teddy bear to communicate with students in Italy. We also learn about conditional formatting in Excel 2007, see the screen capture tool in Smart Notebook 10.0, and visit wordle.net to create “word clouds.”

Play Movie Once again, the citizens of Wichita have shown their strong support for students in the Wichita Public Schools by passing the $370 million bond issue. As a result, Wichita schools will receive facility updates that will provide safe rooms, new classrooms, athletic facilities, even brand new schools to address the overcrowding issues in many parts of our city. Board members, Superintendent Libhart, and CARE representatives give their thoughts on what this means for our community's schoolchildren.
