Mystery Visitor Program Customer service is a priority
The Mystery Visitor Program was created to emphasize the importance of great customer service within the Wichita Public Schools. Positive, professional individuals pose as ordinary customers while they discreetly evaluate schools and support centers in areas such as courtesy, building and campus maintenance, the environment and safety issues.

Superintendent Allison congratulates Trina Wheeler, social worker at Sowers Alternative High School, as the first employee to be recognized as part of the Mystery Visitor program. | The mystery visitor records their impressions on a "First Impressions Rating Scale." A copy of this information is shared with the building principal and the respective assistant superintendent. The principal may share it with their staff as confirmation of things done well or utilize it as an encouraging tool to improve identified areas. The rating scale is not intended to serve as a means to reprimand employees but rather to provide valuable feedback.
If a staff member is mentioned as having displayed exceptional customer service, he/she will be acknowledged with a signed certificate from the superintendent and a small gift of appreciation.
