John Allison named Wichita Public Schools' superintendent
 John Allison will lead the Wichita Public Schools as the new superintendent. He will begin work with the Wichita Public Schools on July 6, 2009.

John Allison visits Wichita
John Allison is in town for his first visit after being named superintendent of the Wichita Public Schools earlier this month. During his three-day visit, Mr. Allison will meet with key staff, building principals, Board of Education members, union representatives and students to get an overview of the district.
