Insurance coverage for all WPS properties are handled through the district Property/Casualty office. Questions regarding coverage should be directed to Alan Weldon, Supervisor.

Student Accident Insurance The district has an optional Student Accident/Health Insurance plan available to any student enrolling in Wichita Public Schools. The insurance provider, Myers-Stevens & Toohey & Co, Inc., offer several different plans to choose from, including student health care, a dental accident plan, and a pharmacy plan. The enrollment forms will be available at the schools during enrollment periods. The Myers-Stevens website also has the plan descriptions and enrollment forms.
Parents opting for this insurance should complete the enrollment form and return, with payment, to Myers-Stevens.
Note: In the Myers-Stevens website use the "Preferred Provider-Kansas" link, then click on the link for "Derby USD 260", as we both use the same forms for this student insurance. Use Form 804 "Mailback Form" to enroll in the insurance. Parents should send the enrollment forms to Myers-Stevens to set up the plan. Do not send the forms to the school your child is enrolled in.
