FLEX Spending:
All WPS benefited employees may take advantage of the tax savings program called FLEX Spending. This program allows an employee to set aside a certain amount of money, pre-tax, to reimburse themselves for out of pocket health care expenses, or for dependent day-care expenses.
The district has contracted with ASI to administer our FLEX programs. Information regarding items that are eligible for FLEX reimbursement, and the claims forms, are available on the ASI website, as well as in the documents attached to this web page. Claims forms must be submitted by the employee, accompanied by the appropriate supporting documentation, in order to receive your reimbursements. Debit Cards are now available!
The district FLEX Spending program for Medical expenses has been upgraded for 2010. Employees enrolled in the FLEX-Medical benefit can now apply for a FLEX debit card to use in leiu of saving receipts and submitting the application for reimbursement. Complete the application form and fax it or mail it to ASI to receive your debit card.
