Effective 9/1/2009 CPI Qualified Plan Consultants in Great Bend, KS will handle compliance issues regarding all 403(b) plans available for district employees. January 2009 - IRS regulations changes for 403(b) plans
January 1, 2009 IRS regulations will change in regard to the handling of employer-offered 403(b) plans. The district has a new 403(b) plan administrator to take care of these new requirements. **** This change is for the 403(b) plans only. The 457 program will continue as is.

Voluntary Retirement programs for USD 259 Employees
USD 259 employees have the opportunity to set up contributions to their personal investment programs through payroll deductions. The district has two programs that are available for employees.
457 Deferred Compensation program through the Hartford Company The district entered into an agreement with The Hartford to manage and direct our 457 program. The investment counselors who can help you with this program are Kent Taylor and Amy VanWinkle. They may be contacted at 210-5049.
403(b) Tax Sheltered Annuity programs - Vendors must be on the approved list below Employees interested in contributing to a 403(b) plan through payroll deduction must choose a company on the approved vendor list.
