The District of Choice for Outstanding Staff
Welcome to the web page of the Human Resources Division of the Wichita Public Schools! The Human Resources staff is available to assist employees and potential employees in any way we can in order that Wichita children receive the best possible education.
As you can expect of an organization with over 49,000 students, numerous parents and community clients, and nearly 8,000 employees, we are always seeking new employees for our positions. Current vacancies are updated weekly and are listed in the Job Openings sections. If you do not see a vacancy posted for a position that interests you, we encourage you to turn in an application to Human Resources as we continuously accept applications and we may consider you for a position as openings develop.
The Wichita Public Schools recognizes that world-class education doesn't come in a one-size-fits-all package. In addition to traditional neighborhood schools, the district's 26 magnet schools and alternative high schools give parents and students a customized approach to meeting their education needs. The district's International Baccalaureate program, a nationally acclaimed advanced academic learning program, regularly produces Ivy League graduates.
