Cultural Proficiency is the policy and practice of the Wichita Public Schools that enable the district or individuals to interact effectively in a culturally diverse environment. Cultural Proficiency is reflected in the way the district treats it employees, its students, parents and its community.
Teachers use student achievement data to plan, guide, adjust and monitor the instructional needs of all students. District-wide alliance encourages positive equitable results for all student cultural groups. |
