BOE Calendar and Meeting Information
The Board of Education holds its regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 p.m. For exceptions, please see the BOE Meeting Calendar. Regular Board meetings are held at the North High Lecture Hall, 1437 Rochester, in the historic midtown area of Wichita. The Board also hosts Committees of the Whole, 99% Awards for students, and Good Apple Awards for staff at various dates noted on the meeting calendar.
All BOE meetings are telecast on Cox Cable Channel 20 and AT&T U-verse Channel 99. Following each BOE meeting, broadcasts are scheduled on Tuesday at 12:30 and 6:30 p.m., Wednesday at 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Friday at 1 a.m., Saturday at 1 a.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Special BOE meetings may also be telecast. Check the broadcast schedule for more information.
Guest parking is available in the student/staff lot east of Rochester or along the street. Handicapped parking is available in the south parking lot. Please enter at the Tower entrance on the east side of North High School or the south entrance by the cafeteria. District staff and security officers are available to provide assistance.
