BOE Calendar and Meeting Information
The Board of Education holds its regular meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 6 p.m. For exceptions, please see the BOE Meeting Calendar. Regular Board meetings are held at the North High Lecture Hall, 1437 Rochester, in the historic midtown area of Wichita. The Board also hosts Committees of the Whole, 99% Awards for students, and Good Apple Awards for staff at various dates noted on the meeting calendar.
All BOE meetings are re-broadcast on Schoolhouse 20, the district's cable TV channel on the Cox Communications cable network. Following each BOE meeting, broadcasts are scheduled on Tuesdays at 12:30 and 6:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., Fridays at 1 a.m., Saturdays at 1 a.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m. Many special BOE meetings are also broadcast on Schoolhouse 20. Check the broadcast schedule for more information.
Guest parking is available in the student/staff lot east of Rochester or along the street. Handicapped parking is available in the south parking lot. Please enter at the Tower entrance on the east side of North High School or the south entrance by the cafeteria. District staff and security officers are available to provide assistance.
