
Mission Statement
The SSC Electrical Department has 29 employees who are responsible for approximately 110 buildings. The Electrical Department provides such services as:
- Installation and maintenance of anything electrical, such as outlets, switches, services, motors, electrical pumps, custodial equipment, and electrical hand tools.
- Installation and maintenance of all network and phone drops; we also work very closely with Management Information Services and NEC on all network and phone installations/requests to maintain a minimal downtime on such systems.
- Installation, training, and maintenance of all security camera systems.
- Assist the electronics department with installation of clock systems, intercom systems, security systems and cable television.
- Install and maintain stadium lights.
- Install and maintain scoreboards.
- Install and maintain stage lighting.
- Mark underground electrical conduits for dig permits.
- Install projectors and smart boards.
- Install and maintain the meal tracker system.
- Maintain and install fire alarm systems; perform annual inspections of such systems.
- Install and maintain parking lot lights.
We work very hard to maintain a safe and reliable school district where we want all children to succeed with minimal downtime related to electrical matters.
