50,042 students in 2009-10, an increase of nearly 900 students from 2008-2009.

- Educating approximately 11 percent of all public school students in the State of Kansas, and more than half of all school-aged children in Sedgwick County.

- Approximately 4,000 teachers, 3,000 classified/support staff, and 240 administrators, which include principals.
